Hi everyone!

Chapter 3 is now available to download! This chapter is a lengthy one with a lot of things happening, so let me give you an overview of the new content:

- an incredibly important choice that locks you into one of two routes. Will you walk the path of the Sun and let all secrets and lies come to light, or walk the path of the Star, where you’ll shine brighter in the shadows?

The two routes have a different set of companions, some major variations in the romances and offer different ways to deal with some sub-plots. The game is intended for you to play both paths and I’ll add a new game+ mechanic in the Chapter 4 update to make this easier, but if you really want to experience your first playthrough with a specific party/love interest, you should make a save at the Crossroads choice for easy backtracking.

This includes 8 romance CGs (a “before the kiss” and kiss CG for each love interest), a main plot CG and two secret CGs tied to a choice you made in Chapter 2.

There also new content warnings:

mentions of sexual assault, mentions of child abduction, mentions of child death.

Chapter 3 was a lot of work and my outline for Chapter 4 makes me expect as much work or more, so I'm going to take a small break throughout September to work on a different, shorter project. This way I'll come back to Chapter 4 with new ideas and energy, maybe even some new skills! I really want Chapter 4 to be a satisfying, well-crafted ending to this story, and I think this will help recharge my creative batteries a little.

I'll give more information on this later, but as I previously stated there will be a NSFW DLC, which I think I'll release after Chapter 4 after all. I'm also working on a little bonus booklet with extra art and writing (mostly scenes from the PoV of the love interests that couldn't fit in the game itself)! I'll post about it in the future and likely make a survey to ask you guys what sort of content you'd most like to see in the booklet.
