Hero's Last Words
You are Seren, the Hero of these lands. You've almost reached the summit of the mountain where you are set to defeat a great evil; but before that, your fiancée wants a word.
This was made for the O2A2 Jam - Queer Edition! As such it's a very short game (one thousand words, one sprite, one background...).
This takes place before the events of The Hero's Journey! It doesn't spoil the events of THJ and can be played independently from it.

Gorgeous art, the sunset in the background makes it feel like it's going to end soon. Romantic and tragic, my favorite :,)

The artwork was gorgeous to look at, background and character both, and the story most certainly kept me invested to the end!
I also love the idea of an uncertain conclusion to the end of the game. To me, it makes the world and its characters all the more intriguing about how Seren can win their duel, and if there will be any positive (or even dangerous) consequences to this. Great work!
