Hi everyone! I made good progress this month, here's a breakdown:
Art:
I finished Kyros's first NSFW CG and finished the SFW alt versions for both NSFW CGs! Here's a peek at the SFW alt version of Kyros's scene:
As you can see the alt SFW CGs will be small cut-ins focused on details; the number/type will vary depending on the NSFW CG, but I'll aim for 2 cut-ins per CG and to show emotionally impactful things like the LI's face and hands.
I also did small paintovers of all the previous CGs, fixing a few things that bothered me, and another small clean-up of all the characters' sprites. I wasn't happy with one of Eira's arm variants so I'm currently redrawing the hand.
I also started painting new key art that I'll use as a new cover image/in Steam graphics when I release the extended demo.
Writing:
I didn't have any writing on my to-do list, but I did end up squeezing some in! I've gotten to the part of the script where things start to fall into place so it's very exciting to write (your various relationships are becoming more or less entangled based on your choices so far, and conflict is brewing!).
Tech/scripting:
Making the NSFW/SFW mode choice took way longer than I thought :') but it works! You'll be able to pick your mode at the start of the game or at any time in the Settings screen (the latter is what took a lot of figuring out, but I'm glad it worked out! I didn't want players to have to restart the game if they changed their mind, only wanted to see certain scenes, etc).
I also scripted the new content for the extended demo! It's almost ready to be played; I'll just need to script in the new music once it's done.
Music:
All the loops are mostly done! I'm just doing some final fixes. I'll make a few short additional tracks if people tell me the loops repeat too much and drive them insane though.
Extra:
I started posting on tumblr again! I'm still using twitter, but its future is pretty uncertain so I figured it'd be best to be on another platform, too. I'm enjoying being able to post longer posts there, it's nice to be able to give more context to things.
And I'm still working on the Steam page! It's almost done; I just need to finish the key art that I'll use to make my headers, capsules and other graphics.
All in all I'm happy with my progress this month! The extended demo will be ready soon (though I don't want to make a specific announcement date, since I'd like to release on Steam and I've seen other devs have trouble with it).
I'm not planning to be as productive in December as I'd like to take a break over the holidays; I'm mostly just planning to finalise the music, script it in, and get things ready for Steam.

The more I hear about this game, the more excited I get! :D
aw I'm glad! I also get more and more excited to release the extended demo as I make more progress on it, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's thoughts on the new content!
